Thomas Markham, 77, of Johnsonville, died October 18, 1948. Burial in Johnsonville cemetery. He leaves his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Harold Clemens of Macon, Georgia and Mrs. John [Hazel] Weaver of Meade, Kansas, and a son, Orda, of Round Prairie. He also leaves three brothers, J.E. of Flora, K.R. of Centralia and W.A. of Assumption and two sisters, Mrs. P.H. Mayles of Flora and Mattie McKittrick of Oklahoma City. He married Deema Little March 22, 1897. Two children, James and Goldie, died in infancy. He was the son of James and Chloe Markham, born May 25, 1871.
