Mrs. Osborne was born October 19, 1918 in Wilkes County to Melton and Cora Speaks Barlow. She was a member of West End Baptist Church.
A daughter, Nellie Walker, preceded her in death.
She is survived by: one son, Bobby Palmer and wife, Shirley of Roaring River; one sister, Elsie Broyhill of North Wilkesboro; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and ten great, great-grandchildren.
