John Allen Talley
John Allen Talley, 70, of Lanett, in failing health for several months, died Sunday at his home from a heart attack. Services were conducted Monday from the Penton church, the Rev. Mr. Beddingfield and the Rev. Alex Adams, officiating. Burial was in the churchyard, Johnson and Blakely in charge of arrangements. Mr. Talley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Orrie Thomas Talley, of Lanett; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Brady Talley, of La-Fayette, and Tom Talley, of La nett; and as sister, Mrs. J. W. Sherman, of Buffalo.
