Stevanna Terry, 96, of Pana died Sunday, March 31, 2002 at 6:55 a.m. in her residence.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at 10 a.m. at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home in Pana with Rev. Clyde Kallal and Rev. Clifford Sanders officiating with burial after at Linwood Cemetery in Pana. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the New Beginnings Church of Pana.
Mrs. Terry was born on April 17, 1905 in Lakewood in Shelby County, the daughter of James and Elizabeth Della Milligan Bland. She was a homemaker and was actively involved in operating K & T Garage with her husband from 1950 to 1964. She lived in the Pana area her entire life.
She was a graduate of Pana Township High School and a founding member of the Assembly of God Church of Pana. She married Morris J. "Pappy" Terry on October 15, 1922 in Taylorville. They were married by James H. Forrester. Morris Terry preceded her in death on August 22, 1986.
Mrs. Terry is survived by her children; Donald Terry and wife Margaret of Pana; and Lois Evelyn Eiler and husband William "Ted" also of Pana. Also, five grandchildren, Lisa Lippert, Valerie Mathis, James Eiler, Wanda Donnelly and Stevanna "Nan" Turner. She also is survived by eight great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and sisters Juanita Tetley and Naomi Reed, both of Pana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one great grandchild, two brothers; Austin Bland and Raymond Bland and her sister, Lois Bland.
