Funeral services for A. B. Channell were held near French Camp with burial in the Bethsaida Cemetery. Mr. Channell died Tuesday at the Choctaw County Hospital following a long illness. He was 95.
He is survived by two sons, Emmitt Channell of Greenwood and Luther Channell of Kosciusko; two daughters, Mrs. John Bayles of Minter City and Mrs. Everett Simpson of Weir, four step-daughters, Mrs. Gennia Power of Jackson, Mrs. May Howard of Starkville, Mrs. Ruth Weir of Weir, Mrs. Charles Weeks of Corinth; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
