Mrs. Waunita Odell Adams Weber, age 87, of Lexington, Indiana, entered this life on December 12, 1933 in Saluda Township in Jefferson County, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Newton T. and Lottie Fae Nighbert Adams. She was raised in Saluda Township and graduated in 1951 from Hanover High School. On December 20, 1951 Waunita was united in marriage to Lynn Jackson Weber by Rev. Vincent in Madison, Indiana. This happy union of 46 years was blessed with three sons, Gary, Barry, and Dennis and three daughters, Debbie, Denise, and Diane. She was a devoted wife, mom, grandma and great grandma. She worked hard to care for her family, preparing delicious meals and helping her husband. She worked as a substitue teacher at Southwestern School System and had worked in the cafeteria. She also had enjoyed helping at the Madison State Hospital. Waunita was a member of the Kent United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening, socializing with her friends, and playing Euchre. She was very fond of her beloved grand-dogs. Waunita died on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 10:50 a.m. at the Hanover Health & Rehab Center in Hanover, Indiana.

Waunita will be missed by her loving sons, Gary Weber and his wife, Brenda of Franklin, Indiana, Barry Weber and his wife, Jackie of Hanover, Indiana, Dennis Weber of Jeffersonville, Indiana; her loving daughters, Deborah Kay Perry and her husband, Wayne of Madison, Indiana, Denise Jett of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Diane Bear of Jeffersonville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jennie Perry Meyer (Stacy), Melanie Perry Eder (Michael), Angie Weber Davis, Matthew Weber (Alexandria), Brittney Weber, Regina Lind (Dason), Nicole Weber Lipperd (David, Jr.); her great grandchildren, Ashlynn Meyer, Bailey Meyer, Keara Eder, Kallie Eder, Macy Davis, Olivia Weber, Cayden Weber, Paige Weber Lawson (Koty), Bryce Weber, Myles Weber; her step great grandchildren, Amber Lipperd, Dave Lipperd and Sadie Nicole Skirvin; her sister, Evelyn Handlon of Hanover, Indiana; her brothers, Clifford Adams and his wife, Carolyn of New Washington, Indiana, Melvin Adams and his wife, Linda of Hanover, Indiana; her sisters in law, Virginia Adams of Hanover, Indiana; Betty Adams of Hanover, Indiana; Betty Gray of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kathryn LeMay of Lexington, Kentucky, Joyce Leasure (Rick) of Lexington, Kentucky, Judy Harris of Thorntown, Indiana; her brother in law, Harold Weber Jr. of Hanover, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Newton T. Adams, died January 11, 1996, her mother, Lottie Fae Nighbert Adams, died November 14, 1969, her brothers, Elbert J. Adams, died August 28, 1920, Floyd T. Adams, died March 29, 2004, Albert Russell Adams, died December 4, 1989, Charles Luther Adams, died September 25, 1991, Robert N. Adams, died October 3, 2016, Willard Gene Adams, died October 18, 2014, her sisters, Viola D. Adams Turner, died July 16, 2008 and Louella Margaret Adams Kessler, died October 21, 2012, Carolyn F. Weber Kramer, died March 19, 2020, and her beloved husband of 46 years, Lynn Jackson "Jack" Weber, died September 1, 1997.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Brynen Chitwood at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre - Hanover Chapel, 278 East Main Street in Hanover, Indiana. Interment will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery near Chelsea, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m.until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre - Hanover Chapel, 278 East Main Street in Hanover, Indiana.
