Julia Louisa Goodrich is the daughter of Harriet Maria Taggart and George Albert Goodrich.
In 1889, a diphtheria epidemic hit the Maeser, Utah area and Julia and four of her siblings died from it leaving a very sad and grieving family. Her brother Hyrum Parks Goodrich and Julia died the same day and were buried in the same grave.
