Nellie was the 4th of 8 children of John Wesley Yerian and Emma Frances Wyatt.
She married about 1904 to Robert Edgar Whitaker.
No stone with Nellie or Robert Whitaker on it has been found. The stone pictured is near the stone of Harold and Jeanette Whitaker.

NELLIE WHITAKER STRICKEN TODAY
Mrs. Nellie Whitaker, 81, passed away at her home, 37 Wood Avenue, at 6 a.m. Friday, after an illness of sixteen years. A native and lifetime resident of Jackson county, she was born December 6, 1887. She was a member of the Jackson Christian Church.
Her husband, Robert, preceded her in death in 1935.
Surviving are six sons, Harold and Darwin, both of Jackson, Dave of Chillicothe, Duwane of Fairfield, Illinois, Bob of Mt. Pelier, and Walter of Carroll, Ohio. Also surviving is one brother, Howard Yerian of Jackson, ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Eisnaugle Funeral Home with the Rev. Clifford B. Thomas officiating. Burial will be made in Evergreen cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Saturday.
