Alvin W. Becker, 87, of Pekin passed away at 10:35 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Pekin Manor.
He was the son of John W. and Stella K. Hampton Becker. He married Mildred Hoerr on June 28, 1942, in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Greg (Carol) Becker, Gary (Debby) Becker and Neal (Stephanie) Becker; one sister, Viola Schlottman; two brothers, Raymond (Sharon) Becker and Melvin (Lois) Becker; six grandchildren, Adam, Ben, Kate, Matt, Andrew and Mark Becker; and three step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers; George Becker, Eugene Becker and Kenneth Becker.
Alvin was a U S Army Veteran of WWII. He was a Letter Carrier for the United States Post Office in Pekin for more than 30 years.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
