DIES AFTER TWO HOURS ILLNESS

John A. John, Aged 80, Succumbs Suddenly at His Daughter's Home at Rimerton

Rimerton, May 4 - John A. John, aged 80 years, 15 days, died Friday evening at 10 o'clock. Mr. John had not been in good health for some time but was only seriously ill for about two hours. His death, therefore, came as a shock to a wide circle of friends. His death occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Croyle, where he made his home. He is survived by the following children; Elijah, Jennie and Mrs. Lennie Croyle, all of French's Corners; Francis, Kittanning; Mrs. Katie John, Reesedale; Fred and Bessie John, Coansville, and Mrs. James Croyle, Rimerton. He is also survived by three brothers, Isaac and Peter John of French's Corners, and Fred John, Clara Vista; and 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Two sisters also survive; Elizabeth Wyant, French's Corners, and Jane Bowser, North Buffalo township. Funeral services will be held on Sunday. The cortege will leave the house at eleven o'clock and proceed to the Brush Valley church where services will be held.
