Mrs. Ida Rebecca Croyle, 84, of West Back St., Rimersburg, died yesterday (May 1, 1960) in Brookville Hospital following a short illness. Mrs. Broyle was born Sept. 29, 1875, in Washington Twp., a son of the late John and Martha (White) John. She was the widow of the late James. H. Croyle who died in 1958. Mrs. Croyle lived in Rimersburg for the past five years and prior to that she lived in the Rimer Vicinity. She was a member of the Brush Valley Brethren Church. Surviving are three sons, Jacob H. of Tidal, Clarence E. of Turtle Creek, and Frank B of Rimersburg; one daughter, Rrs. Robert (Elvie) Montgomer of Oil City; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Croyle of Kittanning and a number of nieces and nephews. Five sons and three daughters preceded Mrs. Croyle in death. Friends will be received at the Miller Funeral Home, Rimersburg, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. R. K Atchison, retired pastor of the Associate Presbyterian Church Rimersburg will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the Tidal Cemetery.
