Genevieve “Jenny” Bowser, 87, of Kittanning RD7, died Thursday, July 20, 1995, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1908 in Washington Township to John Adam and Martha (White) John. She was a member of the Brush Valley Brethren Church. She is survived by two sons, Nelson John of Leechburg RD1 and Rick F. John of Kittanning RD7; and a grandson, Fred John. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Jack Bowser, one daughter, Corrine Bowser, two brothers, Fred and Preston John; two sisters, Catherine and Dorothy John; and two half-sisters, Hazel Wolfe and Lynie Croyle. BOWSER – Friends of Genevieve “Jenny” Bowser, 87, of Kittanning RD7, who died Thursday, July 20, 1995, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Robert Croyle officiating. Burial will be in Brush Valley Cemetery, Adrian RD1. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
