Louise M. Leach, 79, 765 W. Third St. died yesterday at the King's Daughters' Hospital.
She was a former employee of the U.S. Shoe Corp.; a member of the American Legion auxiliary, Post No. 9; and of the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her husband, James C. Leach; two daughters: Dorothy Whitehead and Linda Curtis, both of Tennessee; four sons: Edward Adams, Brooksburg; Bennie Adams, Canaan; Vernon Adams and Billy Joe McDole, both of Madison; one stepdaughter, Valeda, Rogers, Milton; and James Michael Leach, Lexington; four sisters; Della Coffin, Milton; Marie McDole, Lela Mahoney, and Thelma Crafton, all of Madison; two brothers: Randall Hammons, Madison; and Owen Hammons, Lexington, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, one grandson, and one step-daughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Saturday at the Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton, with burial in the Moffett Cemetery.
