Jack Calvin Middleton was born in Appanoose County, March 3, 1927 the son of John and Nora Allen Middleton. He graduated from Centerville High School, was employed by St. Josephs Mercy Hospital, later Mercy Hospital. He also farmed and was a member of the Dale Church.
Jack loved to garden, and can the produce from his garden. Jack enjoyed traveling with family. Jack loved his work family at mercy hospital. Perhaps most importantly Jack loved the Lord Jesus Christ and serving in his church. He was a gifted musician.
He is survived by a sister Donna Armstrong and niece Lucinda Jane Peacock. He was preceded in death by siblings Ruby Vidas, Garnett Lobaugh, Seve Kondy, Harold Middleton, an infant Floyd Middleton, Robert Middleton and Archie Middleton.
Burial will be Saturday, 11AM at Felkner Cemetery, Centerville with Pastor Gerald Campbell officiating.
A Celebration service will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established to FFA and may be left or mailed to the Lange Funeral Home & Crematory, 1900 South 18th St, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
