Seve L. Kondy, 83, of Centerville died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1993, at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Centerville. She was born Sept. 16, 1910, in Centerville, the daughter of Roy and Myrtle (Allen) Middleton. She married V. F. Kondy may 16, 1931, in Des Moines. He preceded her in death June 17,1971.

Survivors include a son, Terry of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Shelia Smith of Durham, N.C.; one granddaughter; five brothers, Harold Middleton of Des Moines, Lavern Middleton of Numa, Bob Middleton of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Rev. Archie Middleton of Blue Springs, Mo., and Jack Middleton of Moravia; three sisters, Garnette Lobaugh of Blairsburg, Ruby Vidas of Centerville and Donna Armstrong of Macon, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Elaine Kinnamon; and a brother, Floyd Middleton.

She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Numa cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. A memorial has been established and may be left at the Lange Funeral Home.
