Ray Burnett Dewater, age 86, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at Sun Health Center in Sun City, Arizona, after a long illness. He was born in Clearwater, Kansas, on March 12, 1917 and has lived in Arizona for the past 24 years.

Ray was a bombardier on B-17s in World War II. He worked at Hughes Aircraft as a carpenter in California for 30 years. He was a member of the Masons while living in California.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Corrine, his step-children: Bruce Johnson, Pamela Futch-Hieb and Diana Parask; his eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, five sisters, one brother and many loved nieces and nephews.

Ray loved to ballroom dance with his wife, Corrine, and enjoyed that hobby for many years.
