Miss May Pearl Haynie of Fayetteville died Monday at at Lincoln County Hospital. She was 79 years old.
Services were Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leslie Jacobs officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
A native of the Mimosa community, Miss Haynie was a member of the Beech Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Newton Haynie of Fayetteville; a sister, Mrs. John Thomas of the Mimosa community; a step-brother, Jennings Pamplin of Howell; and several nieces and nephews.
