Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Higgins Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne Clift officiated. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.
Mr. Haynie was a native of Lincoln County. He was a veteran of World War I. His parents were Robert and Fannie Millis Haynie. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Luna Wilkes Haynie; a daughter, Miss Jayne Haynie and a son, Hilton Haynie; two sisters, Miss Pearl Haynie and Mrs. Jim Thomas; two brothers, John Haynie and Newt Haynie, all of Lincoln County; and two grandchildren.
