He married Winnie Shade Barkley in 1962; she died in 1964.
Mr. Blair graduated from Hettick High School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He retired from farming in Macoupin County in 2003.
He was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Carlinville and Guy Baird American Legion Post 554.
Survivors: daughter, Lois Blair (husband, Tom) Prozorovsky of Naperville; stepdaughter, Janet Barkley (husband, Harold Wayne) Smith of Carlinville; stepson, Alan (wife, Peg) Barkley of Carlinville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Faye Dwyer of Carlinville, Estalene Beckman of Quincy and Eloise Featherstone of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
