Last rites for J. T. Collins, 78, who died at his residence in Winona on February 7, were conducted by Rev. C. E. Burden at the family residence on Monday afternoon, February 8, at three o'clock. Burial was made in Oakwood cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Collins was born in Montgomery County May 10, 1875. He was a member of the Mission Baptist church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lyle Roberson Collins and one brother, W. W. Collins, of Winona.
Pallbearers were Osborn Morgan, Claude Morgan, Gus Morgan, Frank Gibbs, Earl Carson and Charlie Ross.
