William Wade "Rube" Collins, age 86, died December 29 at the Tyler Holmes Hospital, following an extended illness.
A native of Montgomery County, he was a member of the Mission Baptist Church.
Officiating at funeral services at the Mission church, were Dr. Phillip Martin and Rev. W. M. Hull, Jr. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle McCarty Collins, Winona, three nephews, and two nieces.
Pallbearers were James Crimm, Charles Crimm, James Sanders, Clyde Burton, Nick Collins, and Bobby Joe Miller.
