Funeral Services Set For 4 This Afternoon
J. S. Lackey who would have been 54 Aug. 8 resident of Sheffield died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in a local hospital. He had been ill here for the last two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon from the Methodist Church at Sherwood. The Rev. K. P. Barton, pastor of the First Methodist Church at San Angelo, will officiate. Robert Massie Funeral Home is in charge.
Survivorrs include the widow; one daughter, Miss Louella Lackey; four brothers, Jim, Of Pecos County; Roy, Del Rio; John of Tularosa, N. M.; three sisters, Mrs. J. L. Hays, San Angelo; Mrs. N. F. Maddux, Pampa; and Mrs. Ray B. Johnston, San Angelo.
Mr. Lackey's parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lackey were survivors of the Ben Ficklin flood.
