Obit: LEBANON, IND --Jean F. Fausset, 87, of Lebanon, died Sunday, August 19, 2007, at Parkwood Healthcare Center in Lebanon.

Mr. Fausset was a Boone County farmer.

He was born August 11, 1920 in Boone County, the son of Jesse Leland and Nancy Verna Thompson Fausset.

He was a 1938 graduate of Kirklin High School.

He was married to Mary Ellen McKinney, and she died November 27, 1953.

He was a lifetime member of the Father's Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Fausset is survived by his companion, Linda L. Barthalow of Lebanon; four sons, Ronald J. Fausset of Frankfort, David L. Fausset of Groton, Connecticut, Larry D. Fausset of Cocoa, Florida, and Robert L. Fausset of Jacksonville, North Carolina; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Lewis R. Fausset of Boise, Idaho, Charles M. Fausset of Brookston, and Donald A. Fausset of Kirklin.

Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin. Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
