Jacksonville, NC - Robert Leland Fausset, Sr., 69, (MSGT USMC retired) passed away Thursday March 9, 2017 at Onslow Memorial Hospital. He was born February 26, 1948 in Boone County Indiana son of the late, Jean F. and Mary Ellean McKinney Fausset. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday March 15, 2017 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Robert faithfully served his country in the USMC from which he retired at the rank of MSGT with over twenty years of service. He is survived by wife, Charlene Harvey Fausset of the home; daughters, Ami of Japan, Tabitha of Jacksonville, Avegail of Las Vegas, and April of Jacksonville; sons, Michael of Japan, Irwin of Philippines, and Robert, Jr. of Raleigh; ten grandchildren; brothers, Ron Fausett of IN, Larry Fausett of FL, and David Fausett of CT; and his beloved French Bulldog Charlie.
