Mr. Fausset was a farmer. He was a member of Kirklin Christian Church, where he was a deacon, elder, trustee, Sunday school teacher and member of the building committee. He was a former member of Mud Creek Presbyterian Church. He was a former member and past president of Kirklin Lions Club.
He was a 1943 graduate of Kirklin High School, and studied electrical engineering at Purdue University 2 1/2 years. He was a member of Theta Tau Fraternity.
He was born August 12, 1925, in Boone County, to Jesse Leland and Nancy Verna Thompson Fausset. He married Mildred R. Morton on March 9, 1946, and she survives.
He also is survived by two sons, Don M. Fausset of rural Kirklin and Dennis M. Fausset of rural Sheridan; a daughter, Debra Koppleman of Kirklin; three brothers, Charles Fausset of Brookston, Jean Fausset of rural Lebanon and Louis Fausset of Boise, Idaho; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Frankfort.
