Virginia Muriel Tobin Shpall was born Nov 20, 1913 in Burlington Junction, MO to John Edward Tobin (Jack) 1880-1962 and Emma Kunce 1889-1978. The family soon moved to Oakes, North Dakota where Virginia grew up. Her parents divorced and Emma took Virgina and a son Jake Tobin 1929-2009 to Denver, CO for a while and then moved on to Long Beach, California where they lived. Jack took a son Vincent Tobin 1911-1940 and moved back to Burlington Junction, MO. Virginia went to college at Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, IA where her aunt Sr. Inez Tobin was teaching. Virginia, raised as a Catholic, married a Jewish man Nimon Shpall 1905-1988. They had 2 children, Tim Shpall 1948-2017 who died in Antelope Valley, CA and Faga Shpall Wolstein 1950-2005 who had married Norman Henry Wolstein 12-18-1947 and had 2 daughters Alexis and Shana. Virginia died Mar 11, 1987 and is buried at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA.
