His second wife was Franklin Anne Lawrence Pittman Wilson, who died in 2002.
Veteran, US Army, Workd War II, where he served with the 8th Chemical Warfare Division.
He retired from Alice Manufacturing Co., Alice Plant.
Survived by a son; two daughters and sons-in-law; a stepson; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Dicky Wilson of Canton, NC; two sisters, Cora Medford and Helen Smathers, both of Canton, NC, and his best friend, Derek Caldwell of a Easley.
Predeceased by both of his wives, seven brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services: Friday, April 22, 2005, Robinson Funeral Home- Downtown.
Burial: Hillcrest Memorial Park.
