Helen was the daughter of the late Lennie and Beulah Leopard Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Smathers Sutton; an infant son, William Ralph Smathers; and numerous brothers and sisters. Helen was a member of First Baptist Church of Canton.
She is survived by a daughter, Anita Biggs of Canton; a son, Lenny Smathers and his wife, Vicky, of Granite Falls, NC; a brother, James Crain of Seymore, Tennessee.
