Mary S. McCloud, 83, of Buda died at 8:20 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020, at home in Buda.

Born Feb. 11, 1936, in Toulon, the daughter of Horace and Luella (Mock) Hackwith, she married Henry M. Lootens on Feb. 12, 1955, in Sheffield. He died Dec. 19, 1982. She then married Willard C. "Bill" McCloud on May 9, 1998, in Buda. He survives.

She was a homemaker, and had worked in food service.

She was a member of the Toulon Methodist Church in Toulon.

Also surviving are three daughters, a son-in-law, three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; a daughter, Gail Thweatt; and five sisters and seven brothers.

Cremation rites will be accorded at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Homes Inc. Crematory in Princeton. Inurnment will be at later date.

Memorials may be directed to the Buda Rescue Squad.
