Born Cleo Marjorie Chaplin to Alonzo "Jay" Chaplin and Eva May Young, she took the Peterson surname after her parents divorced in 1913 and her mother married 2nd to Frank W. Peterson.


Cleo P. Warren, 89, of Denton, MD., died Saturday at home. Mrs. Warren was a homemaker, and a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Denton, and Talbot and Caroline country clubs. Formerly of Easton and Milford, Del., she lived in Denton for 26 years.


Survived by her husband of 59 years, Isaac, "Ike" F. Warren of Pensacola, FL.; son, Stephen F. Warren of Pensacola; brother, Clair "Pete" Peterson of El Paso, TX; two grandsons.


Memorial service held Nov. 22, 1996 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Denton. Private burial.
