Last Rites Held Thursday for Mrs. Geo. Perry

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Carl Perry, 70, were held from the Bob Riley Funeral Chapel in Hamilton Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with Rev. Douglas Brown, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Gentry's Mill Cemetery. Mrs. Perry died in Austin Tuesday, May 5, where she resided for the past few years.

She was born near Wortham, June 15, 1888, and came to Hamilton with her parents in 1904. On March 15, 1908, she was married to George M. Perry. Ten children were born to this union. Her husband preceded her in death November 17, 1957, and also three children. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Mrs. Perry is survived by four sons: Virgil Perry of Lake Jackson; Jeff and Alven Perry of Hamilton; and L. C. Perry of Irving; three daughters, Mrs. Cleo Osterman, Lake Jackson; Mrs. Irene Ford, Angleton; and Mrs. Katherine Arnold, Goldthwaite; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Eric Dunn, Dimmitt, and James Dunn, Lamesa; three sisters; Mrs. Marion Mitchell, Haskell; Mrs. Robert Perry, Hamilton, and Mrs. Lenard Fergusson of Dallas.

Pallbearers were Charles Walker, W. O. Manning, Clyde Gardner, Verne Crain, A. M. Abernethy, and Otto Lengefeld.
