Cletha Fay Scott, 95, of Winamac, IN, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN. She was born on October 29, 1923 in Pulaski, IN to the late John and Ova (Shadle) Koepkey. Cletha was a 1942 graduate of Pulaski High School. On July 17, 1948, Cletha married Wilbur L. Scott in Winamac, IN. He died on April 2, 1986.

Cletha was a member of the First Christian Church in Winamac. She was also member of the Power of the Past. Cletha was an active member of the Democrat Ladies of Pulaski County and had worked as a charge attendant at the Logansport State Hospital for 28 years. She was one of the “Rosie Riveter” ladies who worked at the Ball Company in Mishawaka, supporting the war effort.

Cletha enjoyed camping and traveling with Wilbur and her family. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. Cletha liked IU and Purdue basketball and riding with her friends through the Tippecanoe River State Park. She was a loving caregiver to her family and friends. Cletha was a great cook who loved to prepare holiday meals for her family. Cletha enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by three sons; one daughter-in-law; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Cletha was preceded in death by a son, Dean Scott; three brothers, Wayne, Harold and Garold Koepkey; and three sisters, Daisy Button, Irma Good and Pearl Reed.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Rev. Jeff Seger officiating. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Burial will take place at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winamac, IN.
