Eula Ernestine Schrank, 81, died Nov. 30 at her home. Services were at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aleman with Pastor Alvin Meissiner officiating. Burial was at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Schrank was born March 29, 1918 at Ireland, Texas, the daughter of Dave and Kate Adams.

She graduated from Gatesville High School in 1936 and attended John Tarleton College at Stephenville where she earned a teachers certificate in 1943. She taught eighth grade English briefly in The Grove.

She moved to Santel, Calif. and was married to Werner Lee Schrank on February 23, 1943. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Aleman.

Her parents, a sister and six brothers precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Werner Lee Schrank of Aleman; six children, Priscilla Lucas and her husband Wilford of McAllen, Peggy Luker and Lee Ellen Schrank, both of Robinson, Mona Richard and her husband Tommy of Copperas Cove, Marla Pack and her husband Rickie of Eastland and Stanley Schrank of Arnett; three sisters, Caroline Whatley and Genevieve Burt, both of Fritch and Elizabeth Brown of Gatesville; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and many other relatives and a host of friends.
