Carrie B. Williamson age 92, of Seymour, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at her home. She was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church and Gleaners Sunday School class. She was an avid cook and homemaker, and loved her family dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lee and Belvia Brickey, husband Robert Edgar “Ed” Williamson, siblings: Marjorie Burkett, Josie Headrick, Beatrice Shuler, Betty McCaulley, Charlie, John F., and Bobby Brickey.
She is survived by her sons: Steve Williamson and wife Kathy, and John H. Williamson; grandchildren: Kelley Easter and husband Eric, Jason Loveday, Jesse Williamson and wife Danielle, and Cole Williamson; great-grandchildren: Landry Easter, Maizey Easter, Canaan Hensley, and Knox Williamson; brother Willie Brickey, and special friend Joyce Skidmore.
The family would like to express a special thanks to all her caregivers for the excellent care and companionship.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm at Grandview Cemetery mausoleum 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803, immediately followed by a 3:30 pm service officiated by Jesse Blair. Entombment will follow in Grandview Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
