Charlie Brickey, age 92, of Townsend, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Mr. Brickey was a member of the former Coker Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. He was a proud veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army.

He was the son of the late Lee and Beliva Dunn Brickey and was preceded in death by 2 Sisters and 2 Brothers.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 70 years, Anna Brickey; Children and their spouses, Charlotte Brooks of Townsend, Janice and Jackie Huskey of Sevierville, Carolyn and Ralph Moats of Maryville, Leon and Diane Brickey of Rutledge, TN., and Judy and Glenn Clowers of Maryville; Grandchildren, Tammy Rhoad, Michael Moats, Melissa Patterson, Tony Brooks, Tim Brooks, Lee Brickey, and Darren Clowers; Ten Great Grandchildren, 3 Sisters, and 1 Brother.

The family and friends will assemble for Graveside services and Interment at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Sherrill Henry officiating.
