Mrs. Gaylord, a native of Norfolk, was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, John S. Gaylord; a son, Alvin Fan, a sister, Margaret Mayfield and three half sisters, Virginia Bossie, Isabell Lilleboe and Louise Giles, all of Virginia Beach; and a half brother, Willie T. Cahoon of Norfolk.
The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel and at 8504 Elgin Road, Virginia Beach, following the service.
