Mrs. Cahoon is survived by four daughters, Virginia Bossie, Isabell Lilleboe and Sarah Gaylord, all of Norfolk, and Margaret Mayfield of Hertford, N.C.; a son, Willie Cahoon of Norfolk; a stepdaughter, Louise Giles of Virginia Beach; a stepson, Meredith Cahoon of Baltimore; a sister, Ada Yates, of Norfolk; a brother, Edward Hitchings of Alexandria; 25 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Dale Burden. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
The family will be t the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
