SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Shelton E. Raney, 66, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 1994, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Rex Blankenship, Pastor of Springs of Grace Baptist Church. Assisting will be Rev. John Flanagan, Youth and Senior Adult Minister. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Raney died Tuesday, December 13, 1994 after a lengthy illness. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Shreveport, LA. He was the owner of Charles Body Shop and a member of Springs of Grace, formerly Sunset Acres Baptist Church, member of Joppa Masonic Lodge, #362, Scottish Rite and El Karubah Shrine.

Mr. Raney is survived by his wife, Faye Raney; two sons, Ray Raney and wife, Phyllis and Tom Raney; two granddaughters, Rae Lynn Raney and Amanda Thurston; two sisters, Frances Jeter and Helen Hailey; four brothers, Cecil G. Raney, Bill Raney, Charles Raney and Jim Raney; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Raney, Glenn Raney, Mike Raney, Rick Raney, Skeeter Raney, Danny Raney and Jody Raney.
