Mr. Raney died Tuesday, December 13, 1994 after a lengthy illness. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Shreveport, LA. He was the owner of Charles Body Shop and a member of Springs of Grace, formerly Sunset Acres Baptist Church, member of Joppa Masonic Lodge, #362, Scottish Rite and El Karubah Shrine.
Mr. Raney is survived by his wife, Faye Raney; two sons, Ray Raney and wife, Phyllis and Tom Raney; two granddaughters, Rae Lynn Raney and Amanda Thurston; two sisters, Frances Jeter and Helen Hailey; four brothers, Cecil G. Raney, Bill Raney, Charles Raney and Jim Raney; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Raney, Glenn Raney, Mike Raney, Rick Raney, Skeeter Raney, Danny Raney and Jody Raney.
