"Christy" aka Marshall Christy FAG# 86562457Charlotte met and married Joseph K. Irwin in c.a.1885. He was a much older man, but they did make a life and a family. They moved to Highland Township, Day County, South Dakota, and later to the newly surveyed town of Webster, Day County, SD. To their union were born three and possibly four Children-Nellie (B. August 14, 1886), James T. (b. March 16, 1888), and Christy M. (b. June 21, 1891). By the time of the 1905 South Dakota State Census, Charlotte has passed away and Joseph is a widower living with three and possible four children. The 1910 U.S. Population Census states that Joseph is a widower living alone with his 18 year old son, Marshall C. Irwin. Charlotte is probably buried in either the Highland Cemetery or the Webster Cemetery, Day County, SD.
