Maxine Roberts Milner Cole

Early Life: Maxine was born March 23, 1931, to Jesse Max and Irene Duckett Roberts. She was the oldest of six children, her siblings: Nadine, Colleen, Burt, Kent and Bliss.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: On September 5, 1987, Maxine married Stanley Christiansen "Stan" Cole; they were sealed in the Manti Utah LDS Temple on April 12, 1992. Maxine had many talents. She was an excellent artist and she painted many paintings throughout her life. She created many beautiful needlepoint designs and crocheted many afghans. She enjoyed singing and loved the church hymns. She was a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers in Spanish Fork, Utah. Maxine was a wonderful homemaker; everything had to be clean and tidy. She worked for many years in the selling of fine jewelry and designed several beautiful pieces herself. She had the capacity to make you feel loved. She enjoyed teaching the gospel as a leader in the Young Women organization and she helped 22 young girls become members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by teaching and helping them prepare for baptism. Her home was always open and she always had a listening ear. She served a mission at Cove Fort, Utah, and loved it. Her true love in life was to dote over her grandchildren and she bragged on every one of them. Maxine Roberts Milner Cole passed away May 4, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Spanish Fork, Utah, with her family by her side. She was 87.
Survived By: Her children with her first husband, Frank Edward Milner: Neal Milner (Audrey) and Nanette Milner Tadd (Jim); stepchildren: Allen Cole (Penny), Clifford Cole, (Karen), Christy Farr (Steve); 19 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Stan; her parents; and her brother, Kent.
