Shelbyville — Marie (Page) Anderson, 94, of Shelbyville, died at 8:50 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2005 in Shelbyville Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Michael Pringle officiating. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville or donor’s choice.

Marie was born in Tower Hill, Illinois, the daughter of Herman and Ollie Ann Deere Page. She graduated from Tower Hill High school in the class of 1929. She worked in the Garment Factories in Shelbyville and Mattoon for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville, Kum Dubble Sunday School Class, VFW Auxiliary #4829 of Shelbyville and Crazy Eight Bunco Club. She married Leo Anderson. He died June 6, 1977.

Surviving are her brother, Nile Page and wife Fern of Shelbyville; sisters, Hilda Hug and husband Nic of Mattoon and Nelda Fern Shaffer of Shelbyville; and 12 nieces and nephews, Lee and Gene Curtis, Dennis and Tom Page, Tammy Willenborg, Nicki Gardinia and Brad Hug, George Young, Kenneth, Paul and Donald Page and Cheryl Page.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leo; three brothers, Garnet, Virgil and Mervin Page; two sisters, Juanita Young and Helen Curtis; two nephews, Ronald Page and Alan Page and niece, Judith Batton.
