Joseph Palmer drew his will 9 Jan 1709. In it he bequeathed his wife Francis one third of the house stuff and one third part of the lands. Son Joseph was to have the housing.

The land was divided between 3 sons. The daughters Hannah and Sarah were to receive 10 pounds each more than his sons. Jonathan and Daniel Palmer were witnesses to the will, New London District.
He resided in Stonington, CT when his will was probated 13 June 1710.
