Luna Ferguson was born in Anderson Co, TX to Jesse Jasper and Edna Ann Camp Ferguson. Her parents are buried in Ferguson Cemetery. She shares a stone with her husband, Weldon V. Brumley, who he married 11 May 1935. Luna died in Palestine. She was survived by her husband; three daughters, Kathy Ann Brumley Wilson and Bonita Brumley Miles, both of Palestine, and Lavida Wynema "Nema" Brumley Shinn of Porter; one sister, Maggie Vernice Stacks of Palestine; brother, Enis Ferguson of Splendora; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Her obituary appeared in the Palestine Herald-Press, Monday, 29 October 1990.
