Mrs. Ella Alspach Claimed By Death
Death Of Jackson Township Woman Attributed To Heart Trouble
Mrs. Ella Alspach, 67, died at her home in Jackson township at 2:45 Tuesday afternoon, following an illness of several months from heart trouble.
She was born Nov. 3, 1871, the daughter of Isaac and Sarah Huffman Jones in Jackson township. Following her marriage to John Alspach she and her husband moved to Oklahoma where he was engaged in the oil business. They returned to Jackson township about three or four years ago because of her health.
Surviving besides the husband are five children, Ray Alspach, of Concordia, Texas; Nelson Alspach, of Shideler, Okla.; Max Alspach, of Allegan, Mich.; Mrs. Blanche Cristy, of Shideler, Okla.; and Mrs. Peggy Roger, of Fort Wayne; and three sisters, Mrs. Kate Terhune, of Colon, Mich.; Mrs. Nora Stinson, of Jackson township; Mrs. Minnie Grove, of Montpelier, and Mrs. Amy White of Montpelier.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Wesleyan Methodist church at Jeff. Burial will be in the Woodlawn cemetery at Warren.
