Mrs. Al Terhune Dead At Hospital
Underwent An Operation For Abdominal Trouble – Aged 51
Mrs. Albert Terhune, aged fifty-one years, died at 2 o'clock this morning at the county hospital where she had been since a week ago Friday when she underwent an operation for abdominal trouble. Little hope for her recovery was given even before the operation, because her ailment had been of such long standing.
Mrs. Susan Terhune was born in Jackson township the daughter of Isaac and Sarah Huffman Jones. She had been a life-long resident of Wells county. The Terhunes live near Liberty Center.
Surviving besides the husband are three sons: Isaac and Earl Terhune of Oklahoma, and Daniel Terhune of Liberty Center and four daughters, Ada Neff, Lela Mounsey, Zella Hunnicutt and Gladis Bradburn, the latter of this city.
Seven sisters and two brothers are Mr. Mary Brown, of Warren; Nora Stinson, of Warren; Katherine Terhune, of Colen, Mich.; Eliza Sills, residing near Twin Bridges; Ella Alspach, Oklahoma; Minnie Grover and Anna White, of Mt. Etna. The parents died two years ago.
Funeral arrangements had not been made pending word from the sons in the west.
