Born March 29, 1910 in Genoa, New York, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Florence Weeks Moravia and the wife of the late Kermit "Jim" Dean. He died January 23, 2001.
Mrs. Dean was a member of the Lansing Historical Society among other organizations.
She was survived by her daughter, Sharon of Lansing; son, Gary of Federal Way, Washington; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Ruth Moravia; brother-in-law, Charles Ostrander; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the Lansing United Methodist Church, Lansing. Burial will be in North Lansing Cemetery.
