Cuthbert J. Brown Called in Death
Cuthbert J. Brown, 83 years old, retired Sullivan county farmer, died Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock at the residence two miles southwest of here.
Mr. Brown was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Brown, Sullivan county pioneers.
Survivors are seven daughters and three sons, Mrs. Effie Gruver of Rome, Ind.; Mrs. Ola Caulk and Mrs. Clara Clem of Terre Haute; Mrs. Daisy Dudley, Mrs. Golda Nesbit, Mrs. Stella Wardell and Mrs. Lula Wesner of Sullivan; Clint and Richard Brown of Sullivan and Carl E. Brown of Dubuque, Iowa. Twenty seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three sisiters, Mrs. Charles Lovelace and Mrs. Lida Woodard of Shelburn and Mrs. Josie Boles of Terre Haute.
The body was taken to the Billman Funeral Home and prepared for burial.
Funeral services will be held at the residence on Friday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. E. C. Corts. Internment will be in Center Ridge cemetery.
