Mrs. Clara Clem Succumbs Today
Mrs. Clara Brown Clem, 79, of Sullivan, and formerly of Terre Haute, died at 6:15 today at the Mary Sherman Extended Care Center.
Surviving are three brothers, Clint Brown, Sullivan, Carl Brown, Sullivan R.4, and Richard Brown, Sullivan R. 1; four sisters, Mrs. Daily Dudly, Sullivan, Mrs. Stella Wardell, Shelburn, Mrs. Lula Wesner, Sullivan R. 1m and Mrs. Viola Caulk, Terre Haute; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Clem was a member of the Church of Christ.
Her husband, John Clem, former legislator from Vigo County, preceded her in death in 1936.
Services will be held Friday at 10:30 at the Alexander Funeral Home, the Rev. Ben Merold officiating, with burial in Center Ridge Cemetery.
