Helen had studied at Ithaca College and was retired from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University where she was an accounts receivable clerk. Helen loved to cook and care for her family.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Russell at home, her children, Bradley Hotelling of Dryden, Dan (Tracy) Hotelling of Forest, VA and Resa (Vince) Monticello of Ithaca; a sister, Verna Jacquith of Lansing; grandchildren, Vincent P. Monticello, Jr, Rachael May Monticello, Darek Hotelling, Chad Hotelling and Katelyn Hotelling; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Helma Blow, Bernard "Budge" May, Genevieve Schuyler, Elwyn "Windy" May, Donald May, Vernon May and Irma Hayes.
Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM, Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Pastor Guy Kinney officiating. Burial will be in Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to call Sunday from 2-4 PM at the funeral home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden, NY.
