Marcia had been a resident of the area since 1957 and was a graduate of Elk Christian High School, Class of 1959.
She was a retired employee of Sylvania, retiring in 2006.
On November 22, 1965, in Virginia, Marcia married David W. Smith, Sr., who survives.
She is also survived by two daughters, Valerie Smith of Bentonville, AK and Cynthia Smith of St. Marys; a son, David W. Smith, Jr. and his wife Pam of Cheyenne, WY;
five grandchildren, Ben Miller, Kyle O’Cuillinn, Shannon Smith, Brooke Feidler, and Emilee Feidler;
two great grandsons, Owen Grant and Nickolas Feidler;
A sister, Veronica Richards of St. Marys; and by
three brothers, John Chicola and his wife Nancy of Byrnedale,
Steve Chicola and his wife Veronica of St. Marys,
and Joseph Chicola and his wife Linda of St. Marys.
In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by a
brother, Greg Chicola.
Marcia was a member of the St. Joseph’s Church. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.
